Clery Act Compliance is More Important Than Ever

recent College Safety Survey1 conducted by Clery Center and ADT found that 82% of college students are concerned about their personal safety. Many campus police agencies work hard to ensure that everyone in the community is safe and aware of safety issues. A critical part of this process is meeting the reporting mandate of the Clery Act. Complying with the requirements in the Clery Act are very technical and agencies can spend hundreds of hours compiling data and auditing all of the requirements. Without accurate and complete reporting data, agencies are at risk for noncompliance which can result in fines in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Today, noncompliance can cost up to $59,017 per violation.

REP's single platform reduces the regulatory burden on campus police agencies, allowing them to renew their focus on improving the safety of students, faculty, staff and other community members.
